What the inspector wrote

On 4/21/23 at 10:28 am Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Annette Sutherland conducted an unannounced complaint inspection regarding the above allegation. Upon arrival, LPA Sutherland met with Director Andea Laub and toured the facility. Census was 86 children and also present were 13 staff members. Based on information obtained during the investigation, LPA reviewed relevant documentation and conducted interviews. Facility staff violated confidentiality rights by not keeping children's records confidential. The preponderance of evidence standard has been met, therefore the above allegation found to be SUBSTANTIATED. California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 12 or Health and Safety Code, are being cited on the attached LIC 9099D. Exit interview was conducted with Director Andrea Laub and a Notice of Site Visit was provided. Notice of Site visit was given, posted and will remain posted for 30 days.
