Inspector’s narrative

What the inspector wrote

On 3/24/2022 @ , Licensing Program Analyst, Joelle Redding, made an unannounced visit to deliver findings on the above-referenced allegation. During the investigation, the physical plant was inspected and interviews were conducted. LPA noted some rodent droppings in a couple of areas along the baseboards of the first classroom to the right of the main entrance and in some deep corners of the small foyer to the left of the main entrance. It is to be noted that the facility is an older building with many trees, shrubs and other wooded area surrounding it. Based on LPA’s observations and interviews, the preponderance of evidence standard has been met, therefore the above allegation is found to be Substantiated. As these areas weren't the primary areas that children are currently occupying while in care, this is a potential, rather than immediate hazard to children in care. A Type B deficiency under California Code of Regulations, (Title 22, Division 12 & Chapter 1) is being cited on the attached LIC 9099D. NOTICE OF SITE VISIT WAS GIVEN AND WILL REMAIN POSTED FOR 30 DAYS.
