What the inspector wrote

On 12/15/23 at 11:40am Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Patrick Ma made an unannounced visit to conduct a Licensee Initiated Case Management inspection to convert playground #2 from the Toddler Component to the infant license. Upon arrival, LPA met with Office Administrator, Sierra Morris. Previously, facility applied for a capacity increase from 24 to 44 infants in room 1 and 14. Fire inspection was completed on 7/24/23 and CCLD inspection was completed 8/1/23. Indoor capacity of 1,583.76 square feet met indoor regulation requirements but outdoor square footage did not. LPA inspected playground/classroom and measured Infant playgrounds: Playground #1: 504.89 square feet Playground #2: 1952.18 Facility requested to add playground #2 with playground #1 to the infant program. The two playgrounds total 2,457.67 square feet enough for 32 children capacity. All equipment available on the playgrounds are age appropriate. Playground #2, licensed for infants, is granted effective today. Prior to inspection, Director submitted waiver for infants to use both playgrounds #1 and #2 in groups on a scheduled basis to meet capacity increase request. License for 44 infants capacity may be granted after file review and waiver approval. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the facility representative Sierra Morris. A notice of site visit was given to facility representative and must remain posted on, or immediately adjacent to, the interior side of the main door for 30 days.
