Inspector’s narrative

What the inspector wrote

Census continued... Classroom #7 (Dolphins) had 20 children with staff members: Alyssa Walb, Alejandra Heredia & Jenny Kemp Classroom #8 (Sea Turtles) had 12 children with staff members: Mahnoosh Babaee & Meghan Parkhill Classroom #9 (Sharks) had 8 children with staff member Daisy Flores All staff were fingerprint cleared and associated to the facility. During this visit, LPA reviewed sign in/out sheets and observed classrooms after nap time. It was alleged that staff left a day care child unsupervised. Based upon information obtained during interviews with children, staff and parents of enrolled children, LPA observations and documents received from the facility it is determined that 4 out of 5 parents interviewed were happy with the care/supervision provided by facility and did not see a child unsupervised. Children interviewed stated that they do not go outside of the facility without a parent. Staff interviewed were unaware of any daycare children being left unsupervised. LPA observed appropriate ratio, capacity and supervision at both visits. Based upon the above information, it is determined that although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove that the alleged violation occurred. Therefore the allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED. No deficiencies were cited at this visit. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with assistant principal Brittany Mccray. Notice of site visit was provided and must remain posted for 30 days.
