What the inspector wrote

On 6/12/25, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Saraliz Velando and Hector Canton conducted an Annual inspection. Upon arrival LPAs met with Director, Rena Chambers and proceeded to tour the facility. Also present today were a total of 37 children with 4 staff members. Appropriate ratios and capacity was observed. Staff members have the required background clearances and are associated to the facility. No excluded individuals are present. Furniture and age-appropriate equipment is in good condition indoors and outdoors. Children's toilets and hand washing facilities are sanitary and functioning properly. Classrooms are safe and clean. The children bring their own lunch and there is a list of children with food allergies in every classroom. Parents provide all food, including lunch and snacks for the children. However, there are emergency snacks available for children. Drinking water is filtered and readily accessible inside and outside the classrooms. Disinfectants, hazardous items and medications are inaccessible to children through latches, locks and placed out of reach of children. Medications are kept in a safe place inaccessible to children in every classroom. The outdoor play area is fenced. Playground equipment is in safe condition, free of sharp, loose or pointed parts. The area under high climbing equipment such as swings/ladders/slides is cushioned with material that absorbs the impact from a fall. The outdoor play area has canopies used for shade.
