What the inspector wrote

Based on the information obtained during this investigation, it has been determined that although the allegations may have happened or is valid, there is enough evidence to prove that the alleged violations did occur. Therefore, the allegations are SUBSTANTIATED . An exit interview was conducted, and this report was reviewed with the Director, Megan Eckert, and a copy was provided. Appeal rights were discussed and provided during the exit interview. A Notice of Site visit was given, and Director understands that it must remain posted for 30 days. Based on the information obtained during this investigation, it has been determined that although the allegations may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove that the alleged violations did or did not occur. Therefore, the allegations are UNSUBSTANTIATED . An exit interview was conducted, and this report was reviewed with the Director, Megan Eckert, and a copy was provided. Appeal rights were discussed and provided during the exit interview. A Notice of Site visit was given, and Director understands that it must remain posted for 30 days.

All food shall be selected, stored, prepared and served in a safe and healthful manner. This was not met as evidenced by,based on interviews it was stated that there have been times where food was either expired or spoiled prior to the expiration date. This is a potential risk to the health and safety of children in care.

    101238 Buildings and Grounds(a) The child care center shall be clean, safe, sanitary and in good repair at all times to ensure the safety and well-being of children, employees and visitors.This was not met as evidenced by, Based on observation and interviews the fridge is not maintained to be clean or sanitary for the food that is being served to the children. This is a potential risk to the health and safety of children in care.
