What the inspector wrote

On 09/21/2022 at 09:45 AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Marie Hernandez conducted an unannounced Case Management Inspection for the purpose of delivering the amended report of 01/19/2022. LPA met with the Facility Director, Randi Schwartz. There were twenty two children with seven staff. An exit interview was conducted and a copy of the report and the appeal rights were provided to the Facility Director, Randi Schwartz.

    Based on observation, interview, record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in which poses a potential health and safety risk to persons in care. Staff #6 did not renew her online mandated reporter certification (AB1207). The staff's certificate expired on 09/02/2022. The Director confirmed that the staff person did not renew her AB1207 certificate.
