What the inspector wrote

On 3/19/2025 @ 9:16AM, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Nancy Diaz and Jody Dye conducted an unannounced inspection in reference to the above allegations. LPAs met and toured the facility with Site Director Amber Guttierez. Observed present today were 12 infants and toddlers in the following rooms: Toddlers 5 with staff Sarah Oconnell & Nikol Howell; 7 infants with staff Shannon Henry, Justine McMillan & Samantha Johnson. Staff interviewed today indicated that there was an infant in the room with medical condition that required child to be propped up during nap. According to staff, child has been placed in a rocker to nap for about 10 minutes. Other times, staff have been observed to rock the baby to sleep. The allegation is valid because the preponderance of the evidence has been met, therefore, the above allegation is found to be SUBSTANTIATED. California Code of Regulations, (Title 22, Division 12, Chapter number) the deficiency is being cited on the attached LIC 9099D. The Notice of Site Visit must be posted for 30 days.
