What the inspector wrote

On August 23, 2022, a case management visit is being conducted in response to the receipt of four (4) unusual incident reports (UIRs) from the facility. LPA met with Director Nikki James. to gather additional details surrounding incidents. The UIRs were received by the licensing agency and dated 01/13/22, 02/07/22 (call received on dutyline) and 02/22/22. The UIR received on 1/13/2021 indicated that a Staff#1 tested positive for COVID-19 and returned on 01/17/22. The UIR dated 02/07/22 indicated that Child #1 tested positive for COVID-19 and returned on 02/14/22. UIR dated 02/22/22 indicated that Child #2 and Child #3 tested positive and returned to school on 03/07/22. Per UIRs and Director all involved classrooms were closed, cleaned and sanitized per guidance of local public health department. During today's visit, LPA toured three (3) rooms (#B5, #B6, and #B7) and LPA observed children to be having lunch or napping. LPA discussed with Director the facility\342\200\231s COVID-19 procedures and the face coverings mandate that was in effect at the time of the incidents. Director stated currently face masks are still encouraged and facility practices daily sanitizing of classrooms and facility. Director also advised LPA that CCC follows the guidance of the local Department of Public Health\342\200\231s on hand washing and COVID-19. An exit interview was conducted, a copy of this report, appeal rights and a Notice of Site Visit was provided to. Director. The Director was reminded that the notice must remain posted for 30 days.
