Facility-requested visit·April 18, 2024

On 04/18/2024 at 3:15 PM Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Dana Stevens conducted an unannounced case management visit for the purpose of inspection of a new play structure on the preschool playground. LPA met with Director Cynthia Quintana and informed her of the reason for the visit. There were 56 children and 15 staff present at the time of the inspection. Director accompanied LPA on a tour of the preschool playground. The new play structure is securely anchored to the ground and age-appropriate. Playground surface is well cushioned, safe and free of hazards with two shade canopy. Water is made available to children outdoors via water containers and disposable cups. Playground is enclosed by a four foot fence with the exception of the off-limits side yard which needs to be fenced or barricaded with a 4 foot partition. The following items are needed for playground approval: * 4 foot partition to make side yard inaccessible. Exit interview conducted and copy of this report provided to Director, Cynthia Quintana. Notice of site visit must be posted for 30 days.
