Pre-licensing visit·August 22, 2022

On 08/22/2022 at 1:19 p.m., Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Rajani Goudreau arrived at the facility to conduct a continuation pre-licensing, change of location inspection. Upon arrival LPA, met with the Director of Special Programs, Shane Schmeichel and proceeded to tour the facility. During today's inspection the outdoor play area was remeasured due to additional space added to meet the requested capacity of 72 children. The outdoor area measured a total of 5,584.44 square feet, which is sufficient to accommodate 74 children. However, facility is only requesting a capacity of 72 children. Waiver for limited outdoor space is no longer needed as outdoor space is sufficient for the requested capacity. Playground waiver request for shared outdoor space, shared restroom waiver request and plan of operation for the shared classrooms obtained and reviewed during the inspection. Exit interview was conducted with Director of Special Program, Shane Schmeichel. Playground and restroom waivers shall be reviewed and approved by the department, prior to the issuance of the license. After final file review and approval of the waiver a license will be granted for 72 children (3 through 5 years old) in classrooms #701, #709 and #710.
