Correction check·January 11, 2023

On 1/11/23 at 9:55am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Martha Malane conducted an unannounced plan of correction inspection to ensure the deficiency cited 12/14/22 was corrected. Upon arrival, LPA met with Director, Corina Tellez and disclosed the purpose of the inspection. LPA was led on a tour of the facility. There were 23 children and four (4) staff members present. LPA observed a safety gated attached to a door in classroom A which leads to the patio 1 area and the system in place for children to be escorted to the restroom. Director submitted a written summary of a staff training which was conducted regarding supervision. Child files were reviewed and contain signed LIC9224 Acknowledgement of Licensing Report. No deficiencies cited. LPA conducted an exit interview with Director, Corina Tellez. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100.
