What the inspector wrote

On 10/14/2025 at 10:45am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Selina Siao conducted an announced follow up Pre-Licensing inspection to add a school age component and to consolidate the existing licensed facilities numbers 376700459 and 376701009 to this pending single license facility number. Upon arrival, LPA met with Director Renece McMorris and conducted a tour of the classrooms to gather census. There were 45 preschool children supervised by 8 staff members and 15 infants supervised by 6 staff members. All staff members have the required background clearances and are associated with their own assigned facility number. Director submitted the pictures of the corrections to the department via email on 09/24/2025. The following corrections have been observed \302\267The preschool technology room has been set up with age-appropriate equipment with Ipads. \302\267No hazardous items are accessible in school-age room #1B. \302\267Alll the lower doors on the cabinet in room #1B located near the kitchen has been removed and the cabinet in the front room has doors but only toys are inside, and it is accessible to children. \302\267There are safety latches placed on the laundry doors located in the preschool technology room to prevent children\342\200\231s access. \302\267Infant room 1A cubbies have been removed and it is now set up to be an area for the children to sit on a little sofa. \302\267Room 1A entrance has been blocked to ensure children\342\200\231s safety. There are two waivers pending approval by the department. One of the waivers is for the infant and preschool outdoor activity area due to insufficient space and another waiver is for the school age children to share the preschool playground by scheduling. Upon approval of the waivers, a single license for 99 children including 20 infants, 63 preschoolers and 16 school-age children will be granted.
