Correction check·April 2, 2025

On April 2, 2025, at approximately 11.55am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Tso met with the Licensee, Yingyi Liang for an unannounced inspection of the Plan of Correction (POC). The purpose of the inspection was explained, and the Licensee granted LPA entry to the home. There were nine children in care (4 infants and 5 preschool aged) with the Licensee and two helpers. During the required annual inspection on March 27, 2025, the Licensee received a Type A citation for deficiency that having 12 children present, 7 infants and 5 preschool ages. It is over-ratio (4 infants only). Moreover, the Licensee received 2 technical violations, including missing 15 minutes sleeping checking logs and the TB clearance record of a helper. During today's inspection, LPA observed there were 4 infants and 5 preschoolers with the Licensee and 2 helpers that no over-ratio was found. LPA reviewed 3 statements signed by both the Licensee and 3 infants’ parents for not providing the care to the 3 infants with effective from 3/28/2025. The updated Facility Roster was reviewed. LPA also reviewed the 15 minutes sleeping check logs for the 4 infants in care. LPA observed the Notice of Site Visit posted and LIC9224 Acknowledge Receipt of Licensing Reports were signed by all parents of the children in care. Deficiency cited on March 27, 2025, was cleared today. Plan of Correction letter was provided to the Licensee. There were no deficiencies cited at this time under CCR, Title 22, Div. 12, Chapter 3. A copy of today’s report was given to the licensee. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Exit interview was conducted with the Licensee, Yingyi Liang.
