Inspector’s narrative

What the inspector wrote

On May 28, 2026 at approximately 1:00pm, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Quimbo and Licensing Program Manager (LPM) Oquendo, met with applicant, Ariana Resendiz, for an informal office meeting at the San Bruno Regional Office. The purpose of the informal meeting was to discuss the current status of applicant's family child care home application for the above address. During meeting, following was discussed: Applicant must live in the home to be licensed. Applicant must be present in the home 80% of operating hours a day. Applicant is the primary caregiver for the family child care home. Applicant must be aware of department's regulations. Applicant must be able to solely facilitate their family child care home operations. Any communication regarding applicant's family child care home will be between the applicant and department directly. The department does not recognize any business relationship or business agreement between applicant, any other family child care home provider or any other business partner. Applicant is the only individual who is responsible and liable for everything that occurs in the home. A complaint filed with department, that alleges applicant does not live in the home, while licensed, can be substantiated. Other licensed providers cannot be living, present and/or working in applicant's home during operational hours. Applicant acknowledges that children will not be exchanged, shared or moved within other licensed family childcare homes. (Continue report on page 2...) (Continued, Page 2...) Enrolled children in applicant's family child care home are to stay at the above address only. If the department obtains information discussed today is not followed, the department has the authority to cite. Applicant stated they understood and are aware of the importance to be in compliance with all licensing regulations. During meeting, applicant completed and submitted Written Declaration (LIC855) stating applicant resides in the home to be licensed and acknowledges applicant will stay current and in compliance with the laws and regulations governing standards for Family Child Care Homes.
