Inspector’s narrative

What the inspector wrote

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Erwin Tjhia met with Director, Natalie Kiesz for a Case Management inspection. The purpose of the inspection was to conduct a case management inspection to follow up on a water report with an exceedance of lead in a water outlet. Present in the facility were 7 staff supervising 27 children. LPA was notified of the lead testing report on 10/14/2025 via email. The report revealed that the water outlets G tested on 09/13/2025 had elevated levels of lead. Center Director reported that Outlet G will be permanently taken out of service and water bottles will be used daily in place of outlet G. During today's inspection, LPA verified that the affected water outlet G is not in use and water bottles are being provided for drinking water in place of outlet G. Center Director stated the outlet G will be removed and taken out. As a result of the water testing positive for elevated lead levels, a deficiency was cited on subsequent page 809D. An exit interview was conducted, and the report was reviewed with Center Director. Licensee Appeal Rights were provided. A notice of site visit was posted by LPA and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100
