On January 9, 2026, at 9:00 AM. Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Deborah Khashe and Denice Pablico met with Site Supervisor, Dawn Briggs for the purpose of an unannounced annual inspection. A copy of the facility checklist was provided. Facility days and hours of operation are Monday-Friday from 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM. There were no children present during today's inspection. Facility representative was reminded that all adults 18 and over, including employees and volunteers, except as specified in Health and Safety Code section 1596.871, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a Child Care Center. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day for a maximum of 5 days or, if the penalty is for a repeat violation, for a maximum of 30 days per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated. Assembly Bill (AB) 2370, Chapter 676, Statutes of 2018, requires all licensed Child Care Centers (CCCs) constructed before January 1, 2010, to test their water (used for drinking and food preparation) for lead contamination before January 1, 2023, and then every 5-years after the date of the first test as specified in Health and Safety Code section 1597.16. LPA verified that the lead testing was completed in accordance to the Written Directives (Interim Licensing Standards) outlined in PIN 21-21.1-CCP. LPAs observed that hazardous items were inaccessible to children in care. LPA reviewed staffing ratios, first aid supplies, drinking water and fire drills. Last fire drill was conducted on 10/15/25 .LPA Khashe discussed the requirement of the fire drill log. Licensee understands that fire drills must be conducted and documented at least once every six (6) months. LPA observed all required forms to be posted. LPA observed functioning carbon monoxide and smoke alarms. LPA observed the toys, furniture and equipment to be in good condition. Outdoor play area was toured, the play structure appeared to be in good repair, and there is sufficient cushioning (wood chips) under the play structure. AM and PM snack is served. Facility Representative, Dawn Briggs understands that if an unusual incident occurs, licensing is to be notified via phone call, e-mail or fax within 24 hours, and the Unusual Incident Report LIC 624 shall be submitted within 7 days to remain in compliance. Facility Representative understands that if any structural changes are made to the facility, licensing must be notified prior to construction. LPAs reviewed 5 children\342\200\231s and all staff files. LPA observed health screening reports with TB test and required MMR and TDAP vaccines for all adults and children. At least all staff member present today has current Pediatric CPR and First Aid. LPA observed AB1207 Mandated Reporter Training certificates for all staff. The site supervisor was reminded to renew the course every 2 years through www.mandatedreporterca.com website. Incidental Medical Services (IMS) policy was discussed.
