What the inspector wrote

On August 18, 2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Stacey Williams, met with Facility Representative, Madhuri Nandiraju for an unannounced annual inspection. The program operates Monday- Friday from 7:00am to 6:30pm. There are two program options: Part-Day (Monday-Friday, 9AM-12pm) and full day. LPA observed three staff supervising seven children during today\342\200\231s inspection. Criminal record clearances were verified. Facility was toured indoors and outdoors and inspected for Health and Safety hazards. Classrooms have age-appropriate toys and equipment that are in good repair. Cubbies are located inside the classrooms. The facility has age-appropriate furniture and equipment including cots/mats. Blankets and sheets are washed every Friday. Children's toilets and sinks are appropriate in size and height for children. Restrooms are maintained clean, in good repair and with adequate supplies. Solid waste vessels have tight-fitting covers and are in good repair. Cleaning products and Toxins are inaccessible to children. The isolation area for an ill child is in the Director\342\200\231s office area. Facility has a functioning carbon monoxide and smoke detector. The playground equipment is in good repair. Water is readily available both indoors and outdoors. Sign in/out is done electronically. Program provides breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack. Child and staff files were reviewed. Files contained the required documentation by regulation. Mandated Reporter Training is current in staff files that were reviewed. Mandated Reporter Training is to be completed every two years and can be accessed at www.mandatedreporterca.com . CPR/First Aid certification was reviewed. Expiration date is 5/2026 for the Site Supervisor. LPA reviewed the Department's inspection authority and discussed with staff any changes that may occur regarding Director/Site Supervisor or an employee acting in the director's absence must be reported to department within 10 working days. Report continues on LIC 809C--- Page 2\342\200\246 Facility representative was reminded that all adults 18 and over, including employees and volunteers, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a Child Care Center. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day up to $500.00 maximum per day/per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated. Assembly Bill (AB) 2370, Chapter 676, Statutes of 2018, requires all licensed Child Care Centers constructed before January 1, 2010, to test their water (used for drinking and food preparation) for lead contamination before January 1, 2023, and then every 5-years after the date of the first test. For childcare center licenses issued after July 1, 2022, the licensee shall test their water for lead within 180 days of licensure pursuant to Written Directives section 101700 (PIN 21-21.1- CCP). LPA verified that the lead testing was completed in accordance with the Written Directives outlined in PIN 21-21.1-CCP. Incidental Medical Services (IMS) policy was discussed. Director was informed of the MyChildCarePlan.org website; a consumer education website that helps families obtain childcare by connecting them to childcare providers and Resource and Referral Agencies (R&Rs) throughout California. Report continues on LIC 809C--- Page 3\342\200\246. No Title 22 deficiencies were observed during this inspection. LPA reviewed report with the Facility Representative, Madhuri Nandiraju and provided copies of the report along with Appeal Rights. A notice of site visit was provided and posted by LPA Williams and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100.
