Licensing Program Analysts (LPA) Erwin Tjhia met with facility representatives, Sandi Waites and Emesralda Sandoval for the purpose of an unannounced Annual inspection. LPA toured the facility inside and out. Facility days and hours of operation are Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM to 11:30 AM . Facility provides breakfast and lunch which is supplied by the school district. There were 14 children present during today's inspection. All staff present during today's inspection have a fingerprint clearance through the Lodi School District. Facility representatives were reminded that all adults 18 and over, including employees and volunteers, except as specified in Health and Safety Code section 1596.871, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a Child Care Center. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day for a maximum of 5 days or, if the penalty is for a repeat violation, for a maximum of 30 days per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated. LPA reviewed staffing ratios, first aid supplies, furniture, equipment, fire drills and drinking water. LPA observed that hazardous items (disinfectants, cleaning solutions etc.) were inaccessible to children in care. LPA observed all required forms to be posted. LPA observed functioning carbon monoxide and smoke alarms. There are adequate toys and equipment available for children. Outdoor play area was toured, the play structure appeared to be in good repair, and there is sufficient cushioning (artificial grass) under the play structure. LPA reviewed the sign in/out book and observed that the children are properly signed in/out. LPA reviewed children\342\200\231s and staff files. LPA did observed complete immunization record for all staffs. At least one staff member present today has current Pediatric CPR and First Aid (exp. 08/2024). LPA observed the current AB1207 Mandated Reporter training certificates. The facility representatives were reminded to renew the course every 2 years through www.mandatedreporterca.com website.
