What Happened
LPA conducted a case management visit and found the large family child care home operating out of compliance with capacity and staffing expectations. The licensee was alone caring for seven children ranging from 9 months to 4 years old, and a Type A citation was issued.
Observations
- Licensee was alone caring for seven children ages 9 months, 2, 2, 3, 3, 4, and 4
- Capacity and staffing requirements were not met during the visit
- A Type A citation was issued for an immediate health and safety risk
