Correction check·May 22, 2025

On 05/22/25, Licensing Program Analyst Elvira Sierra (LPA) conducted a Plan of Correction (POC) inspection to verify correction from deficiency cited on 05/13/25. Present in the facility was Licensee and her husband caring for 9 daycare children. On today's inspection LPA observed that an alarm was placed in the in ground swimming pool located in the backyard. LPA and Licensee tested the swimming pool alarm and the alarm sounded upon detecting an object entering the water. LPA advised Licensee that the alarm shall be turned on and be in working condition during facility's operating hours while the swimming pool is not in use. In addition LPA observed a daily inspection log. Deficiency cited HSC 1596.814(a)(2)(B) is cleared and corrected on today's inspection. An exit interview was conducted, and the report was reviewed with Licensee, Cindy Lee. LPA provided Licensee Appeal Rights and a copy of this report. A Notice of Site visit was posted by LPA and must remain posted on, or immediately adjacent to, the interior side of the main door for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100.
