What the inspector wrote

On February 26, 2026, Licensing Program Manager (LPM) Bettina Engelman and Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Stacey Williams conducted a plan of correction inspection and met with Facility Representative, Malathi Nagaraja. There were twelve children supervised by three staff. On February 17, 2026 the facility was cited for a lack of supervision for an incident that occurred on January 21, 2026. Since that incident, the facility has taken the following steps: * classroom furniture was rearranged to encourage children to remain in certain areas * additional full time staff was hired *parents are encouraged to use an alternate parking lot at drop off/pick up *windows on the exit doors are covered *Center Manager provided a detailed plan of correction Today, LPM and LPA observed an adequate level of supervision and communication . Child files were reviewed which contained signed Acknowledgement of Receipt of Licensing Reports. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Facility Representative, Malathi Nagaraja. A notice of site visit was given to Facility Representative, Malathi Nagaraja and must remain posted on, or immediately adjacent to, the interior side of the main door for 30 days.
