Applicant, Yeny Perez

A1\342\200\231s tentative hours of care are Monday through Sunday, 23 hours per day.
A health and safety inspection was conducted inside and outside of the FCCH. A1 accompanied LPA for the entirety of the tour. The FCCH is a one-story house with a living room/playroom, kitchen, dining room, family room, bathroom #1, bedroom #1, bedroom #2, bedroom #3, master bed and bath, garage and a backyard. LPA verified that toxic and hazardous items were inaccessible to children in care. LPA did not observe any stairs. LPA observed a fireplace in the family room. The outdoor play area was toured which includes the backyard which is both cemented and grass. LPA verified that the entirety of the backyard is fenced-in and walked the perimeter to ensure the safety of the fence and gate.
The backyard has an in-ground pool.
LPA conducted a safety inspection for the in-ground pool.
LPA observed a pool fence that does not meet tittle 22 regulation
s. There are windows in the FCCH that have complete access to the pool. Licensee was made aware and advised to make corrections to the fencing, in order to be able to get Licensed. A1 stated that she understood and would make corrections. LPA tested the entrance gate to the pool which opened outwards and has a self-latching lock. The OFF-limits areas of the FCCH are the garage, all of the bedrooms and the pool.
A1 understands that 100% supervision is required for children in the front yard as it is not fenced. A1 stated that she does not own any pets. LPA observed chemicals stored in the garage; however, an additional slide lock was observed on the access door to the garage.
