What the inspector wrote
On April 10, 2026, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Stacey Williams met with Facility Representative, Arianne Mischeaux
for an unannounced annual random inspection. LPA provided LIC 125, Entrance Checklist. LPA observed twelve (12) children being supervised by four staff. The Facility Representative was reminded never to exceed the conditions, limitations and capacity specified on the license

Facility hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 7:30AM- 5:30 PM. Facility waiver is on file for outdoor space. Facility fees are current.
The Facility Representative was reminded that all adults 18 and over, including employees and volunteers, except as specified in Health and Safety Code section 1596.871, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a Childcare Center. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day for a maximum of 5 days or, if the penalty is for a repeat violation, for a maximum of 30 days per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.
LPA toured the facility including all activity and classroom spaces, restrooms, food service and outdoor play areas. The Facility Representative stated there are no poisons, bodies of water, or weapons on the premises. LPA observed that hazardous items (disinfectants, cleaning solutions etc.) were inaccessible to children in care. LPA observed functioning carbon monoxide and smoke alarms. There is also a 2A-10 BC fire extinguisher onsite. There are adequate toys and equipment available for children.
Playground equipment and surfaces were inspected and are in good repair with enough resilient material under climbing structures to absorb a fall. Shade was provided to children via trees. Drinking water was readily available to children both indoors and outdoors.
Menus were posted for breakfast, morning and afternoon snacks. LPA observed required licensing postings were visible to parents. LPA observed a current children's roster and fire drill; the last drill was conducted 2/2026

During this inspection, LPA observed that the facility is equipped with first aid equipment. Sign in sheets are done electronically.

During today’s inspection staff and children’s files were reviewed. LPA observed current immunization records, documentation of the educational background, training, and/or experience and Mandated Reporter training certificates in staff files. Staff present today have current Pediatric CPR and First Aid certification (expires 11/2026). Each child's file contained appropriate documentation: emergency card, consent for emergency medical treatment and notifications of children’s and parent’s rights, health history, physician's report, sleep logs, infant needs and service plans and immunization records.
Assembly Bill (AB) 2370, Chapter 676, Statutes of 2018, requires all licensed Childcare Centers (CCCs) constructed before January 1, 2010, to test their water (used for drinking and food preparation) for lead contamination before January 1, 2023, and then every 5-years after the date of the first test. For childcare center licenses issued after July 1, 2022, the licensee shall test their water for lead within 180 days of licensure pursuant to Written Directives section 101700 (PIN 21-21.1-CCP). LPA verified that the lead testing was completed in accordance to the Written Directives outlined in PIN 21-21.1-CCP.
Incidental Medical Services (IMS) policy was discussed. For IMS information see PIN 22-02-CCP. When any IMS is provided, an updated Plan of Operation that includes IMS must be submitted to the Department. , as an additional resource. LPA also informed facility representative
of the importance of checking for and removing recalled infant devices on the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) website at:

, and recommended they register all infant devices with the CPSC to be notified of any recalls on their purchased equipment.

Facility Representative was informed of the MyChildCarePlan.org website; a consumer education website that helps families obtain childcare by connecting them to childcare providers and Resource and Referral Agencies (R&Rs) throughout California.
