Routine inspection (multi-day)·July 10, 2025

On 7/10/2025 at 8:30 AM , Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Gigi Reyes conducted an unannounced annual continuation inspection at the above referenced child care center. LPA met with Co-Director Sierra and director Doris Angel day and discussed the purpose of the inspection. A tour of the facility was conducted both indoors and outdoors. At the time of the inspection, children were observed to be playing in the outdoor playground. LPA observed a total of 31 children with five (5) staff members present including the director. LPA continued the review of staff files and found them to be complete, including the health screening, immunization records and current qualifications. The physical plant including classroom areas , restrooms and outdoor play equipment were observed to be in safe, and in good repair. Age appropriate- materials and equipment were available to children. Bathrooms are free of toxins. LPA also observed the required forms are posted in the prominent location. During today's inspection, no deficiency was cited. Notice of Site Visit was issued and must remain posted for 30 days. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Director Doris Angel. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day for a maximum of 5 days or, if the penalty is for a repeat violation, for a maximum of 30 days per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated. LPA discussed the safe sleep regulations with licensee, and discussed the Child Care Licensing Safe Sleep webpage at https://www.cdss.ca.gov/inforesources/child-care-licensing/public-information-and-resources/safe-sleep as an additional resource. LPAs also informed licensee, the importance of checking for recalled infant devices on the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) website at https://www.cpsc.gov/ and recommended they register all infant devices with the CPSC to be notified of any recalls on their purchased equipment. The FCCH is not providing Incidental Medical Services (IMS). IMS policy was discussed. For IMS information see PIN 22-02-CCP. When any IMS is provided, a Plan for Providing IMS must be submitted to the Department. Licensee was informed of the MyChildCarePlan.org website; a consumer education website that helps families obtain childcare by connecting them to childcare providers and Resource and Referral Agencies (R&Rs) throughout California. During the exit interview, the LICENSEE, confirmed that there are no Registered Sex Offenders living in the facility and LPA completed the RSO profile in FAS. During today's inspection, no deficiency was cited, Technical Violations were issued. A notice of site visit was given to Licensee and must remain posted on, or immediately adjacent to, the interior side of the main door for 30 days.
