Follow-up on corrections·November 3, 2021

On 11/3/2021, on or about 10:35 AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Gigi Reyes conducted an unannounced Case Management Inspection at the above mentioned Pre School Center. When LPA arrived at the pre school parking lot, LPA observed that day care children were playing in the play ground. LPA went straight to the play ground and observed there were no teachers supervising the children. LPA asked Child 1 where the teachers were, Child # 1 stated , teachers were inside the room while pointing to the Classroom There were 24 children outside and 2 teachers were inside the classroom. Staff 1 and Staff 2 came out from the classroom. Staff 2 stated Staff 2 went inside and did a diaper change of a child. Prior to proceeding with the inspection, LPA asked pre screening questions related to COVID - 19, Staff 1 responses indicate there were no COVID 19 exposure on site. Director Julie Soto and Licensee Monique Mcteer arrived at the Center on or about 11:00 AM. LPA explained the purpose of the inspection. The following deficiency is being cited in accordance to Title 22 of the California Code of Regulations and/or Health & Safety codes. Please refer to LIC809D for documentation of deficiency cited: Continued on LIC 809C A copy of this report must be provided to the authorized representatives of all currently enrolled children and must also be provided to newly enrolled children for the next 12 months. The report shall be provided no later than the next business day or the next day the child is in care. The ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF RECEIPT OF LICENSING REPORTS (LIC 9224) shall be signed and kept in each of the children’s records.
