What the inspector wrote

On August 18, 2025 at 1:50 PM, Licensing Program Analysts, (LPAs) Gigi Reyes and Seena Parsapour conducted an unannounced Plan of Correction Inspection at the above mentioned Family Child Care Home (FCCH). LPAs met with Licensee Aimee Sigala and discussed the purpose of the inspection. LPAs and licensee toured the home. On August 13, 2025 the FCCH was cited for Staffing Ratio and Capacity violation, as there were 15 children present at the time of the inspection, three (3) infants, ten (10) over the age of two years old, and two (2) school-aged children. During today's inspection, LPAs observed 8 children in care , 1 infant and 7 children over the age of 2 being supervised by the licensee and the assistant. No deficiency was cited. LPAs observed that Notice of Site Visit and the Evaluation Report containing type A violation issued on 8/13/2025 are posted in the home. Signed acknowledgement forms from parents are on file. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Licensee, Aimee Sigala. On the other hand, LPA observed that Notice of Site Visit and the Evaluation Report containing type A violation issued on 2/19/2025 are posted in the home. Signed acknowledgement forms from parents are on file. LPA discussed and reviewed the violation with the licensee. A copy of this report and the civil penalty assessment was provided. An exit interview was conducted and report was reviewed with the licensee, Griselda Vargas.
