Inspector’s narrative

What the inspector wrote

On 11/21/25, at 2:30 PM, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Matthew Sapien and Gigi Reyes conducted an unannounced case management inspection visit at the abovementioned CCC. This inspection is to follow up on a complaint inspection conducted on 11/19/25. LPAs met with Angelina Marziello, Co-Director of the CCC, and explained the nature and purpose of the inspection. The LPAs, in the company of Director, toured the CCC. At the time of the inspection, LPAs observed 20 day care children present. In addition to the Co-Director, LPAs observed 1 Staff Assistant (1 Teacher; cleared and associated). During 11/19/25 inspection, LPAs observed Staff 3 (S3) did not possess any Early Childhood Education (ECE) units and was helping supervise 22 preschool children alongside the Co-Director. Through interview and record review, it was determined that Staff Member 3 (S3) does not have adequate qualifications to be considered a teacher at the CCC. During today's inspection, one Type B deficiency was issued (see LIC 809-D page). A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Appeal rights were also given and signature on this form acknowledges receipt of these rights. Exit interview was conducted and report was reviewed with the Facility Representative, Angelina Marziello.
