What the inspector wrote

On 11/19/2025 at 3:01 PM, Licensing Program Analysts, (LPAs) Gigi Reyes and Mathew Sapien conducted an unannounced Case Management inspection at the above Child Care Center (CCC). LPAs met with Co Director Angelina Marziello and discussed the purpose of the inspection. LPAs conducted a tour of the CCC Infant Program, and interviewed Staff and Director who stated that Staff 1 were supervising 5 infants LPAs noted that one teacher was supervising 5 infants which exceeds the 1:4 ratio requirement. It was further determined that Staff 2 who does not meet the qualifications for infant care, was left supervising infants during Staff 2's lunch break. LPAs noted that Staff lacks the required educational units and was left in charge of infants, which is a violation of staffing qualification standards. During today's inpection, deficincies were cited under LPAs informed the Co Director to provide a copy of this licensing report dated 11/19/2025 that documents any Type A citations to parents/guardians of all children currently enrolled by the next business day or the next day the children are in care, and to any newly enrolled parents/guardians for 12 months from the date of this report. A signed Acknowledgement of Receipt of Licensing Report (LIC 9224), or other written statement, must be placed in the child's file for verification. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Co Director Angelina Marziello. Notice of Site Visit was issued and must remain posted for 30 days. Appeal Rights were given and explained.
