Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Glenn Schnell conducted a case management inspection in response to notification from Anna Reitman & Francesca Brake that there have been some changes to the outdoor activity space, and that the program is no longer using room 608, since they will be leasing the space to an outside child care company, Kinder Care Education. Kinder Care Education will be operating a before and after school preschool and school-age program (extended day programming) to support child care needs of the families and children that attend Sacred Heart Schools. Playground modifications include: removing a playhouse, replace climbing structures, built stairs to create easier access to the outdoor space, built a small stage next to sand box. LPA inspected the playground for health and safety and no concerns were identified with the construction and modifications completed. No changes were made to the square footage of the outdoor activity space. Since room 608 will no longer be used by the preschool program, these are the remaining rooms that will be used: Rooms 1 through 5. Rooms 1-3 were previously measured on 8/9/18, with each room measuring 835.20 square feet, or a total capacity of each room being 24. Rooms 4 and 5 were measured during todays inspection. Measurements were calculated to ensure there continues to be adequate indoor square footage after removing the square footage of room 608 from the preschool license. Room 4 measures 850.657 square feet and room 5 measures 850.657 square feet. The total square footage for rooms 1 through 5 is 4206.914. This equals 120 children. LPA Schnell has verified that there is adequate indoor square footage for the current licensed capacity. There are 16 sinks and 10 toilets available for the preschool children to use. There is a sufficient number of sinks and toilets for the current licensed capacity. No deficiencies cited during today's inspection.
