Inspector’s narrative

What the inspector wrote

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Andrea Medlin met with facility representative for this case management visit. Purpose of the visit is due to a self reported unusual incident. There are 62 children present during the visit. On 12/20/2022, a child (C1) reported a teacher (S1) had "pinched him and hit him in the back." LPA conducted interviews. It was determined that there is not a sufficient amount of information to determine whether any inappropriate conduct was done to a child. Facility conducted internal investigation and did not find any evidence of inappropriate conduct. However due to alleged incident, the teacher (S1) is not left alone with children and another teacher is always in the room. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is unsubstantiated. This report is reviewed with facility representative and a copy of this report must be made available for public review upon request. Notice of site visit shall remain posted for 30 days.
