Inspector’s narrative

What the inspector wrote

On August 18, 2025 at approximately 2:15 PM Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Katie Krenn arrived for the continuation of an unannounced annual inspection. LPA met with a staff member that explained that the school was closed at this time and that the director was out today. LPA explained that the purpose of today's visit is to finish reviewing staff files from the previous visit. Staff stated that the files were available and a Facility Representative authorized to sign the report was available. The facility operates Monday through Friday from 8:30AM - 5:30PM in the summer. The Fall term starts on September 4, 2025. There are no pools, spas, pond, or bodies of water on the property. LPA had completed the physical plant inspection during a previous visit. LPA finished reviewing five staff files, verifying that the staff had the necessary documentation. All of the staff files reviewed all had certifications for pediatric CPR expiring in August 2026. All of the staff files reviewed had current Mandated Reporter Training Certification. LPA verified the transcripts of three fully qualified teachers. Facility Representative was reminded that all adults 18 and over, including employees and volunteers, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a Child Care Center. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day up to $500.00 maximum per day/per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. No citations were issued during today's visit.
