Inspector’s narrative

What the inspector wrote

On March 27, 2026, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Garcia conducted unannounced complaint inspection. LPA met with Area Manager, Gesmyne Bell and explained the purpose of the visit. Present during today's visit were 9 staff, including the director and 50 school-age children. Based on interviews, record review and observations, the allegation "Staff speak inappropriately in the presence of children in care" is unsubstantiated, meaning it may have happened or is valid, there is no preponderance of evidence to prove the violations did or did not occur. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Area Manager, Gesmyne Bell and new site director, Renata Sheley. A copy of the report was given to the Area Manager along with a Notice of Site Visit, that must remain posted for 30 days.
