Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Andrea Medlin met with facility representative for this plan of correction visit established on 9/20/2023. Purpose of visit explained. There are 6 children in care today: 2 infants and 4 preschool aged. LPA reviewed the files of children present during the visit. The following previously cited deficiency is observed to be corrected and cleared today: 102416.5(d) - There may never be more than 4 infants in care at the same time. For a Large Family Child Care Home, the maximum number of children for whom care may be provided at any one time when there is an assistant provider in the home, including children under age 10 who reside at the licensee's home and the assistant provider's children under age 10, shall be: (1) Twelve children, no more than four of whom may be infants. LPA observed Licensee to be in compliance with ratios today as there are only 2 infants present during visit. This report is reviewed with facility representative, Rosalba Tapia, and a copy of this report must be made available for public review upon request. Notice of site visit posted and shall remain posted for 30 days.
