***** THIS IS AN AMENDED REPORT FROM ORIGINAL DATED 10/23/2024 ***** On October 23rd, 2024, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Alvarado and Medrano conducted a case management inspection due to deficiencies at the facility. Upon arrival LPAs were allowed access to the facility by teacher Jasmin Wood. Later, at approximately 3:10pm, Director, Jaqueline Galdamez joined LPAs and LPAs explained the purpose of today\342\200\231s inspection. LPAs toured the facility and inspected for health and safety hazards. Prior to Jacqueline\342\200\231s arrival, at approximately, 2:47pm LPAs observed the 11 "TK" children napping in the upper classrooms. Based on conversation with the South San Francisco Fire the facility does not have fire clearance for the spaces in the upstairs area for the licensed facility. Per record review, the building had a school on site, Roger Williams School, but the school has been closed since 6/30/2020. The children found upstairs are all enrolled in the Building Kidz program. LPA's explained that children needed to be moved from the upstairs area, director and staff immediately complied by moving children downstairs. During discussion and record review it was found that the facility on the daily is over enrolled as their licensee is for 42 preschool children and 12 toddlers totaling 54 children. During tour of facility, 48 preschool children and 6 toddlers were found present today. This report and appeal rights were provided and exit interview was conducted with the Site Director, Jacqueline. Notice of Site Visit shall remain posted for 30 days.
