Correction check·October 30, 2024

On October 30th, 2024, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Alvarado and Medrano and Licensing Program Manager (LPM) Rodriguez conducted a Plan of Correction visit along with the South San Francisco Fire Inspectors, Terrance Gee and Caitlin Bucceri at approximately around 10:35am. Upon arrival, LPAs, LPM, and Fire Inspectors were allowed entry into the facility by Teacher Mendez and Director, Jacqueline Galdamez and stated the purpose of the inspection. LPAs along with the fire inspectors toured and inspected the facility for health and safety hazards. During this inspection, no children were found in the upstairs classroom. Per discussion with facility representative, Ana Galdamez, the program has not used the space since the last inspection conducted on 10/22/2024. It was discussed with facility representative that the children cannot enter the upstairs classroom until fire clearance has been officially approved by the fire department and that the Centralized Application Unit (CAB) completes and approves their updated application. There was also a discussion with the facility representative providing documentation to the San Bruno Regional Office about the facility's TK classroom being registered with CA Department of Education (CDE) as of October 16, 2024 which was verified by LPAs through CDE's website. This report and appeal rights were provided and exit interview was conducted with the Executive Director, Ana Galdamez. Notice of Site Visit shall remain posted for 30 days.
