What the inspector wrote

On March 3, 2026 at 2:25PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Alvarado arrived at the facility to conduct an unannounced Plan of Correction (POC). LPA Alvarado met with the licensee Christie T. Cruz (L1). Purpose of the inspection was explained. Present in the facility was (L1) supervising 1 child present (Preschooler). All adults present in the home have fingerprint clearance and are associated with the facility as of today\342\200\231s inspection. The facility is a large license and is operating within capacity limits and ratio during today\342\200\231s inspection. (L1) was reminded that if no assistant provider is present at a Large Family Child Care Home, then the licensee shall comply with the capacity requirements for a Small Family Child Care Home as specified in 102416.5 Staffing Ratio and Capacity. During the Annual Inspection on January 15 , 2026 the facility was issued five Type B citations regarding Infant Safe Sleep, Children Records, Personnel Records, and Alterations to Existing Building or Grounds. LPA Alvarado and (L1) conducted a Health and Safety Walk through the facility along with (L1). During today\342\200\231s inspection on March 3 rd , 2026 LPA conducted file reviews for children records and personnel records. LPA was able to confirm that 15-Minute sleep logs were being conducted and documented. (L1) has Completed Mandated Reporter Training that is current Expiring 1/2028. (L1) has current updated Pediatric First Aid/CPR that will expire 2/2028. (L1) submitted a new application to add the dining room for Family Child Care home that was approved through a case management. Continued on Page 2... Page 2 Continued... LPA was also able to confirm that children\342\200\231s immunization's are being maintained. LPA also observed the Documented Emergency Drills that are properly logged last drill was conducted and documented on 1/22/2026. (L1) was reminded that Emergency drill is to be conducted and documented once every six months. During today\342\200\231s inspection LPA was able to clear five out of the five Deficiencies that were issued on 1/15/2026. Letters of deficiencies cleared were printed and provided to (L1). No deficiencies were cited during today\342\200\231s inspection under CCR, Title 22, Div. 12, Chapt. 1. Appeal Rights were provided to (L1). A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Exit interview was conducted and report was reviewed by licensee, Christie T. Cruz.
