What the inspector wrote

On 10/13/2025, at 3:10 PM, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Wadhwa and Zaragoza conducted an unannounced Plan of Correction (POC) Visit and met with Licensee Cao-Read Jing. Purpose of visit was explained. Present during the visit was the Licensee, an assistant and 8 children (4 infants and 4 preschoolers). All adults present today have finger-print clearance on file. The POC is regarding a Type A deficiency cited on 10/01/2025 for overcapacity. Licensee had 5 infants, 5 preschool age children in care on that day. At today\342\200\231s visit, LPAs toured the facility for health and safety inspection and observed Licensee has 4 infants and 4 preschoolers in care. Based on observation and record review, Licensee is operating within capacity at today\342\200\231s visit. A clear of deficiency letter was provided to the licensee. Additionally, Licensee has provided LPAs with a written plan of correction that includes the names and schedule of the children that would be present on each day of the week. Licensee will be communicating with the families informing them of the new schedule to ensure the facility is within capacity compliance at all times. The facility was also issued a Type B citation on 10/01/2025 for not having a functioning carbon monoxide detector. At today\342\200\231s visit, LPAs confirmed the licensee has installed a new carbon monoxide detector, which LPAs tested and observed to be in working condition. A clear of deficiency letter was provided to the licensee. A copy of this report with the appeal rights was provided, and signature of this form acknowledges the receipt of these documents. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Licensee, Cao-Read,Jing. Licensee was advised Notice of Site Visit to remain posted for 30 days.
