What the inspector wrote

On October 22, 2025 at approximately 1:15PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Katie Krenn arrived for an unannounced annual inspection. LPA met with the Director, This inspection will be completed at a later date. Aurelia Vlad, (D1) and explained the purpose of today's visit. Present at the facility in addition to the D1 were three fully qualified teachers supervising 34 preschool children (ages 2 - 5 years old). The facility remains within its capacity limits and meets the required ratios for today\342\200\231s visit. Program operates Monday through Friday from 8:00AM \342\200\223 5:45PM for a August through June school year. A six week summer program is run from 9:00AM \342\200\223 3:00PM. Per D1, there are no pools, spas, or bodies of water on the property. LPA reviewed the sign in and sign out sheets and found that all the children present had been signed in. LPA observed that parents need to be reminded to use their full name when signing the children in and out. LPA reminded D1 the importance of using full names on sign-in sheets. D1 confirmed that they understood. LPA reviewed the files of five staff. LPA verified that all the staff have completed the Mandated Reporter Training and First Aid CPR certification. LPA verified that the staff met the educational requirements to serve as fully qualified teachers. continued on page 2 Page 2 To improve the quality and value of the new inspection process, a survey will be sent to the email address provided. Director was reminded that all adults 18 and over, including employees and volunteers, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a Child Care Center. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day up to $500.00 maximum per day/per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated. No deficiencies were cited during today's inspection. This inspection will be completed at a later date. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the Director, Aurelia Vlad.
