What the inspector wrote

On 5/20/2025 at 8:50AM., Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Luis Gomez and met with Licensee, Day Anne Esgurerra. The purpose of inspection was explained and was for an unannounced, plan of correction inspection established on 5/6/2025. Present were the licensee caring for 3 children. During inspection, co-licensee / husband and 2 additional children arrived to facility. ( 3 infant -age, 2 preschool -age). LPA confirmed facility is operating within capacity limits stated on license. LPA inspected facility for health and safety hazards. During inspection, LPA conducted record review, observation, and interview. On 5/15/2025, Licensee submitted updated client schedule to the Department. Client schedule submitted shows no more than 4 infant-age children in care at any given time, with totals never exceeding 11. LPA reviewed the facility records. LPA observed LIC9224, Notice of A-type deficiency has been signed by guardians and stored in the children\342\200\231s files. The, LIC9227, Individual Infant Sleeping Plan has been completed and stored in qualifying child's files. LPA observed Notice of site visit has been posted in visible location next to facility license. The deficiencies issues during annual inspection on 5/6/2025, have been cleared. The 'letter of deficiency citation cleared' was provided. Based on today's inspection, no deficiencies were cited in areas evaluated according to California Title 22, Div. 12 Chap. 3, Health and Safety, Code of Regulations. Exit interview was conducted with Licensee, Day Anne Esguerra. Licensee signature of this form acknowledges the receipt of these documents. This report must be available in the facility for public review. Notice was provided and shall remain posted for 30 days.
