On January 16th, 2025 at approximately 9:30am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Tapia-Mandujano conducted a subsequent unannounced visit to the facility to deliver investigation findings in response to the above allegation that was made to the Child Care Licensing Division (CCLD) on 10/22/24. LPA met with Director of Finance and Operations, Ana Guanzon and explained the purpose of the visit. During today's inspection, there were 40 preschool age children being supervised by 6 staff during nap time. All staff observed during today's inspection are fingerprint cleared and associated. During today’s visit, LPA conducted a health and safety inspection and conducted two additional staff interviews. During the course of the investigation, LPA conducted both staff and parent interviews, conducted health and safety inspections, and received pertinent documentation. LPA determined that based on the information obtained there is not sufficient evidence to prove that: Staff hit child in care, Child sustained unexplained bruising while in care, and/ or staff handled daycare child in a rough manner. Although the allegation above may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violations did or did not occur, therefore, the above allegations are UNSUBSTANTIATED. Upon receipt of this report, Licensee shall post the Notice of Site Visit. Notice of Site Visit shall be posted for 30 consecutive days. Failure to maintain postings as required, will result in an immediate $100 civil penalty. This report is public and can be reviewed. After today’s visit, an exit interview was conducted, report was reviewed and copy was provided to with Director of Finance and Operations, Ana Guanzon.
