Correction check·July 25, 2024

On July 25, 2024, at approximately 9:50am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Melissa Zaragoza conducted an unannounced, plan of correction (POC) visit. LPA met with licensee, Wen Ya Huang, and explained the purpose of the visit. Present during today's visit included licensee, and her son (over 10 years old). On July 19, 2024, at approximately 10:00am, LPA Zaragoza conducted an unannounced, annual inspection. During annual inspection, licensee was issued one Type A citation for having infants sleep in an off limit area. A POC was discussed with licensee. As of this date, LPA observed licensee to have children sleep in the living room. The living room is a licensed room, that is a part of the Family Child Care Home. Licensee also sent LPA photo proof on, 7/19/24 of children napping in the living room. During visit, LPA also observed children\342\200\231s records and checked for LIC 9224 form to be In the children\342\200\231s files. LIC 9224 form from the Type A citation was signed by each parent and filed in each children\342\200\231s record. All children\342\200\231s record are complete and have all required forms on file. LPA also observed an updated Child Care Facility Roaster that is actualized with the children that left and the children that remain under care. LPA also observed Notice of Site Visit to be properly posted and available for review. LPA confirmed licensee to be operating within licensed capacity limits on this date. Deficiencies cited on July 19, 2024, have been cleared during today's visit. LPA provided licensee with POC Letter. No deficiencies were cited today. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with licensee, Wen Ya Huang.
