Facility-requested visit·May 15, 2026

On May 15, 2026, at approximately 3:00PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jonathan Tse conducted an unannounced case management visit at the facility. LPA met with Program Director, Leah Scholer, and explained the purpose of the visit. The facility submitted an application for an increase in capacity from 72 to 143 children, with the addition of Rooms 1, 2, and 3, in addition to an outdoor play area. Fire clearance was granted on May 13, 2026. During today's visit, LPA inspected and measured Rooms 1, 2, 3, and the TK Patio. The indoor classrooms are currently in use by Arundel Elementary's TK program. The surface of the rooms were observed to be clean and free of debris. LPA observed there to be 6 handwashing sinks and 6 toilets, which will meet Licensee's request for an increase of 71 children. The allowable square footage of Rooms 1, 2, and 3 is 2528.67 sq. ft., which will meet Licensee's request for an increase of 71 children. Play Yard #2 was previously remeasured on April 13, 2026 to be at an allowable square footage of 5830.58 sq. ft. The allowable square footage of the TK patio was measured to be 1783.63 sq.ft. The measured outdoor play areas will not meet the requested capacity of 143 children. The Program Director stated that she will submit an updated waiver request. Continued on Page Two Page Two No deficiencies were cited during today's visit. A notice of site visit was provided and must remain posted for 30 days. Prior to approval of the increase in capacity, Licensee shall submit by June 12, 2026: 1) An updated outdoor waiver 2) Photos showing age-appropriate toys and equipment in Rooms 1, 2, 3 and the TK Patio.
