Correction check·January 26, 2026

On January 26, 2026, at 2:00PM Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Alvarado arrived at the facility to conduct an unannounced Plan of Correction. LPA Alvarado met with the licensee Saima Abdullah (L1). Present in the facility is (L1) and assistant supervising seven preschoolers. At approximately 2:20PM one child was picked up from the facility and at approximately 2:40PM another Assistant arrived to the facility. Facility is operating within ratio and capacity as of todays inspection. (L1) was reminded that if no assistant provider is present at a Large Family Child Care Home, then the licensee shall comply with the capacity requirements for a Small Family Child Care Home as specified in 102416.5 Staffing Ratio and Capacity. All adults present in the home have fingerprint clearance and are associated to the facility as of today\342\200\231s inspection. During the inspection another child was picked up as they were not feeling well. During the Annual inspection on 11/6/2025 LPA cited five Type B deficiency regarding Personnel Records and Infant Safe Sleep. Plan of correction and due dates were discussed and agreed upon with (L1). LPA conducted a follow up Plan of correction on 12/12/2025 and cleared one deficiency. During today\342\200\231s visit, LPA conducted Record review and observed that assistant present during today\342\200\231s inspection has current Mandated Reporter Training that Expires 1/2028. LPA observed that, current assistant also has Child CPR that is current through the American Heart Association that is current expiring 8/2027. LPA also observed completed personnel records for assistants that contained proof of required immunization. LPA Alvarado and (L1) conducted a Health and Safety Walk through of the facility indoors and outdoors. During today\342\200\231s inspection LPA was able to clear four of the remaining four deficiencies of the five Deficiencies that were issued on 11/6/2025 during the annual inspection. Letters of deficiencies cleared were printed and provided to (L1). No deficiencies were cited today on 1/26/2026 under CCR, Title 22, Div. 12, Chapt. 1. Appeal Rights were provided to (L1). A notice of site visit was provided and must remain posted for 30 days. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the licensee, Saima Abdullah.
