Correction check·July 16, 2025

On July 16th, 2025, at approximately 8:45AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Alvarado conducted an unannounced plan of correction (POC) inspection. LPA explained the purpose of the inspection with Staff Janet, at approximately 9:15AM Facility Director, Di Hai arrived and explained the purpose of the inspection again. Present in the facility is the Facility Director with 5 staff members supervising a total of 31 preschool-age children. All adults present are fingerprinted, cleared and associated to the facility. During today\342\200\231s inspection, the facility is operating within teacher to child ratio. On April 22, 2025, LPA Alvarado was conducting an Annual Inspection, during the inspection there was one adult present without fingerprint clearance, mandated reporter training was missing in five staff files, and one staff member did not have a completed file. LPA issued three Type B citations, and a Plan of Correction (POC) was developed with the facility. At approximately 9:30AM LPA along with Facility Director Di Hai Inspected the facility indoors and outdoors for any Health and Safety Hazards. At 9:35 LPA observed a space heater, that was not in use and no children surrounding it and addressed it with the facility Director where it was removed immediately. At approximately 10:05 LPA Alvarado reviewed the Mandated Reporter Training for staff and was able to confirm that they have been maintained for staff. LPA was able to verify that the facility has current staff that are fingerprinted and associated to the facility. At approximately 10:10AM LPA Alvarado during record reviews observed that 26 children have been signed in and there are three parent signatures missing, and LPA addressed it to the facility Director. LPA Alvarado was able to clear two out of the three deficiencies that were issued on April 22, 2025. As of this date, LPA has cleared the two Plan of Correction (POC) of Administration of Child Day Care Licensing, and has provided POC letter. As of this date a Pending Plan of Correction (POC) for Personnel Records remains. Based on today's inspection, no deficiencies were observed, according to California Title 22, Health and Safety Code of Regulations.
