Licensing Program Analyst, LPA Yee conducted an annual inspection today. LPA met with the site director, Jessica Mihaly. The facility is located at the Laurel Elementary School campus. Daycare classrooms: G2, G4, G5. Days and Hours of operation: M-F, 7:30a-5:30p. Currently, the school is on summer break and will resume operation on August 20th. LPA reviewed the personnel report with Jessica and it's current. There are 7 staff available to serves 72 children. Cubbies are available to store children's personal belongings. The classrooms are set up the next week. Children's mats are adequately stored. There are a total of 6 toilets and 8 sinks available for children's use. A separate bathroom for staff is available. Isolation areas for a sick child is in the director's office and will call a parent for pick up. Each classroom is equipped with first aid supplies. All cleaning supplies and harmful items are stored out of reach children. Drinking water for indoor and outdoor are readily available. Due to COVID, children are bringing their snacks and lunches to school. Site director has a current CPR, 1st aid until 7/2022. During the visit, all staff members are renewing their CPR, 1st aid on site. Currently, the school is using Meadow Play yard, River Play yard, G4 patio, G5 patio, Prairie Play yard.
