What the inspector wrote

Licensing Program Analyst, LPA Yee met with Applicant/Director, Jessica Mihaly for a case management inspection. The facility is located at the Laurel Elementary School campus. The facility has requested to add a G2 classroom. G3 classroom will be removed from the license. No change in preschool capacity. Daycare classrooms: G2, G4, G5. Days and Hours of operation: M-F, 7:30a-5:30p. *Classroom G2 measures 930 square feet, allowing for 26 children. There are a total of 6 toilets and 8 sinks available for children's use. Cubbies are available to store children's personal belongings in each classroom. The classroom has been set up with children's toys, tables, chairs, and equipment for children's use. Napping mats are properly stored. The classroom is equipped with a working telephone, smoke/fire alarm, a carbon monoxide detector, and a fire extinguisher. A first aid kit is available. Jessica stated the facility conducts fire/emergency drills once a month and a log sheet is available. All cleaning supplies are inaccessible to the children. Drinking water for indoor and outdoor are readily available. Children bring their daily snacks, and lunches Prior to approval: Fire clearance approval is needed.
