What the inspector wrote

On May 8, 2025, @ approx.2:00 pm, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Maria Olguin-Leon, conducted an unannounced, plan of correction (POC) visit. LPA met with Director Connie Rosas and explained the purpose of the visit. Present during visit was Director, one staff and 9 preschool age children. All adults present have criminal background clearances and associated to facility. Facility is operating within capacity and in compliance with staff/child ratios. On April 24, 2025, LPAs Maria Olguin-Leon and Leslit Tapia-Mandujano conducted an annual inspection at facility. During visit, LPAs cited facility one type A deficiency for Limitations on Capacity; A licensee shall not operate a childcare center beyond the conditions and limitations specified on the license, including the capacity limitation. During inspections on 12/05/2023 and 04/24/2025 the facility was commingling preschool after school age children and school age after school age children. During today\342\200\231s visit, Director confirmed preschool after school children are using room #4 and school age children are currently using Gymnasium and children are not being commingled. LPA collected a written acknowledgement from Director stating they understand preschool after school age children and school age after school age children cannot be commingled. LPA observed signed and completed Acknowledgement of Receipt of Licensing Reports (LIC9224) for the 5 random enrolled children. LPA observed facility site visit and report dated 04/24/2025 posted. Type B deficiency issued for disaster drills shall be conducted at least every six months is being cleared today. Last emergency drill was conducted on April 28, 2025, and is properly documented. LPA provided Director copy of POC letters. No deficiencies were cited today under CCR, Title 22, Div. 12, Chap. 1. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Director Connie Rosas.
