On November 3rd, 2025, Regional Manager (RM) Cindy Interiano, Licensing Program Manager (LPM) Marie Rodriguez, and Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Leslit Tapia-Mandujano met with Owner, Navin Chugh and Director, Jessica Smith for an informal office meeting. The purpose of the informal meeting was to discuss regulations cited on July 21 st , 2025 and August 21 st , 2025. Appeals for deficiencies were received and reviewed. During today’s meeting Regional Manager, Cindy Interiano addressed one appeal and provided the determination of that appeal to Owner, Navin Chugh. Facility Representatives were advised and reminded of the following: Importance of ensuring all staff are aware and abide by Children’s Personal Rights regulations Maintain appropriate Teacher to Child Ratios at all times, including not exceeding groupings of 12 toddlers Ensuring there is visual and auditory supervision at all times Technical Support Program (TSP) was offered as an additional resource; have continuous monitoring of staff; and offer outside training to staff offered by other agencies. During meeting, facility’s representatives were provided with the Child Care Advocate Program Flyer and Technical Support Program Flyer, as well as how to access the CARE tool on the CCLD website. Facility’s representatives stated they are all aware of the importance to be in compliance with all licensing regulations. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Owner, Navin Chugh and Director, Jessica Smith.
