What the inspector wrote

Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Andrea Medlin and Janette Cruz met with Sheila Bramhe, applicant representative. The purpose of the visit is an unannounced pre-licensing inspection to add an infant component. This facility has an existing preschool program with toddler component facility # 414004506 and school age program #414004507 which will be converted to a single license upon completion of the inspection process. Applicant has requested total capacity of 78 children: 6 infants (ages 15-18 months);18 toddlers (ages 18-24 months), 24 preschool (2-5 years) and 30 school-age children. Fire clearance was granted by San Mateo Fire Department on March 4, 2025. Days and hours of operation are Monday-Friday 8:30AM-5:30PM. There were children present (14 toddlers, 15 preschool & 10 school-age) during today's inspection. LPAs toured the facility and measured on-limit areas and classrooms. During today's inspection, applicant representative has decided to change her requested capacity and room assignments. Applicant was advised to submit an updated LIC200A Application for a Child Care License and an updated facility sketch. Applicant understands that an updated fire clearance is needed to complete the prelicensing inspection. LPAs will continue the prelicensing inspection at a later time. This report is reviewed with Sheila Bramhe, facility representative and a copy of this report must be made available for public review upon request.
